We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a client based in London, SW18 (Wimbledon).

You’ll spend your whole shift with one person, no travelling between sites, just focused, meaningful support.
About the Role
As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £13.85 -£17.07 per hour, after training is completed.
This position is for a minimum of 24 hours per week, with the following shifts on a four week rolling rota:
Week 1 Saturday and Sunday 09:00-21:00
Week 2 Thursday 08:00 - 20:00 and Sunday 09:00-21:00
Week 3 Monday 08:00 - 20:00 and Friday 09:00-21:00
Week 4 Thursday 08:00 - 20:00 and Friday 08:00-20:00
Rotas are subject to change and flexibility is required to cover annual leave and absence as overtime. Overtime shifts will also include sleeping nights and waking nights.
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant include but are not limited to
Assisting with personal care needs including bathing, dressing and toileting
Medication administration
Meeting our client’s complex health care needs including the use of ventilation, cough assist and chest physio
Blood pressure monitoring
Moving and Handling as well as repositioning
Assisting our client to access the community
What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:
A caring and empathetic nature
Good communication skills
A genuine desire to support others
Basic IT and record-keeping skills
A full UK driving licence is advantageous
Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
